Hi Rise Centre for the Arts, is the first and only one of it's kind in Australia.
An integrated arts center featuring The Archetype Gallery, The Hi Rise Theater Company and Ata Fotographic Studio.

A hot spot for people to get creative in a positive, supportive and productive environment. Hi Rise is a central and large network of artists from various creative industries teamed up to facilitate classes, workshops, courses, live events, theater productions, filmmaking and more...

Founded by Rachel Jordan a visual and performing artist, Rachel sought to create a space where everything creative that she has done in the past and continues to do could be shared. "I am of the belief that I can do anything and everything, if I put my mind to it. I am constantly creating and wanted to create a space I would enjoy learning in".

With the support of Co-Director of The Archetype Gallery, Stefan Auimatagi von Reiche a visual artist and the Director of Ata Fotographic Studio, Hi Rise was born. Attracting highly regarded local industry professionals to be on staff, Hi Rise is able to offer the widest range of creative disciplines under one roof, accessible to all people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or economic status.

Students at Hi Rise learn arts related disciplines such as; Dance, Art, Yoga, Djing, Filmmaking, Art, Photography, Design, Fashion, Writing, Acting for Theater and Screen, Piano, Percussion and more...

Hi Rise is an unfunded organization surviving through the dedication of the students, members of the community and the love, hard work and passion of the Directors and staff. Hi Rise also actively supports local community artists with rehearsal space, artist consultancy and community arts initiatives.
