Young People

Classes for Young People (5-12yrs) in:

* Art (Mixed Media- Photography, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture)
* Classical Ballet
* Hip Hop
* Acting

* Saturday Special! Act + Dance + Art is a combination class of the three arts.

Art Class for Young People is suitable for ages 5-12 years and 13-18 years. Class is either split into age appropriate groups or all ages are intergrated, it depends on the days attendance and the art teachers activity.

Materials are provided and the art teacher offers guidance throughout the class, working to allow the young people to express themselves with emphasis on color, application and storytelling.

The classes work to improve:

* Fine and gross motor skills * Encourage creative thinking * Problem solving * Building confidence * Self expression

The classes over the weeks will cover:

* Basic Drawing techniques using e.g charcoals, pencils

* Paper and Fabric Printing

* Mixed Media Collage

* Jewellery Making

* Painting with watercolors

* Painting on canvas- abstract and fine (emphasis on natural ability rather than learned)

* Installations

* Hand painting

* Puppet making

* Board games

* Tye dying

* Mosaic

* Clay/plaster modelling and masks.
